| 内容記述 | 本論では1980 年代のテレビ番組における言説と映像を分析し、「小劇場ブーム」と観客像との関係を明らかにする。NHK の演劇番組やニュース番組では、小劇場演劇は1985 年に始まる小劇場建設ラッシュとそれを享受する若い観客が注目された。一方、若者向け番組では文化における情報の送り手と受け手の境界が揺らいでいることが議論されていた。ダンスや音楽の場面で舞台が紹介されるこれらの番組で描かれたのは、演劇の同時代文化としての側面である。そこで語られる観客の多様なイメージは、批評やメディアの描く文脈を反映したものであった。1980 年代の小劇場演劇は集団創作が注目に値する。多くの女性を含む従来の演劇的慣習に従わない作り手たちは新しい想像力を手にし、舞台を記号的に読み解く若い観客は、その創作の共犯者であった。番組映像から見えてくるのは「小劇場ブーム」という現象は小さな劇場という場と小劇団の増加であり、その結果、集団創作のスタイルとそれを支える新たな想像力が客席を含めた演劇領域に広まったといえる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to clarify the relationship between a phenomenon known as the ‘Little Theater boom’ and audience images from TV programs in the 1980s, analyzing their discourses and pictures. NHK Theater and News programs described the activity of the Little Theater （Sho-gekijo） increasing theater spaces in Tokyo from 1985 onwards, focusing on getting young audiences on the bandwagon. On the other hand, the youth TV program discussed the indecisive boundary between a sender and a receiver in cultures. These TV programs emphasized the facet of theater activities as contemporary culture with dancing and music in their spectacles. The various images of new audiences, who supported contemporary culture, reflected critical and media discourse. The remarkable creative style of the Little Theater in 1980s was a group project. The creators, many of whom were women, did not rely on traditional theater conventions, thereby gaining a new imagination. The young audiences, interpreting theatrical signs on the stage, were also accomplices in that creation. The ‘Little Theater boom’ phenomenon increased the number of Little Theater spaces and companies. As a result of the phenomenon, the collaborative style of such creative group projects and their imaginations spread in the area of theater, including to the audiences. | |||||
