| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine university students’ goal mechanism and the effect of goal on job- search strategies during their job search in Japan.Participants were 17 students who engaged in job searching behaviors and fi nally obtained their job. Data from interviews were analyzed from the standpoint of employment goal, job search goal, job-search strategies. Results suggest that employment goal, job search goal were related to job-search strategies. This study has two important implications. First, students set various goals during their job search. Second, the relationship between each type of job search goals and job-search strategies are different. Therefore, job search goal research are important for understanding students’ job search strategies and interventions aimed at goals are effective for university students to encourage of using their appropriate their job-search strategies. | |||||
