| 内容記述 | カール・ロジャーズが来談者中心療法において中核条件を提示することで何を目指そうとしたかについて論じた。中核条件とは共感的理解および無条件の尊重、純粋性である。筆者はロジャーズとユージン・ジェンドリンについて二つの疑問をあげた。なぜ、ロジャーズは心理療法についてまったく技法に言及しなかったのか。彼は初期のころ提起した反射技法を次第に遠ざけるようになったのである。なぜジェンドリンはフォーカシングにおいて関係を重視するのか。熟練したフォーカサーは自分が熟練したリスナーを必要としていないこと、フォーカサーとリスナーとの関係はあまり重要でないことを知っている。彼らは深く自分自身のフェルト・センスをあてにしているのである。筆者がセラピスト役として、大学院生がクライエント役として経験した心理療法ロールプレイングが先の二つの疑問に関する仮説を与えてくれると考えられた。反射技法だけを使いながら、私はクライエントと自分のフェルト・センスに注意を向けていた。学生は自分が自分の内的自己に入り込んでいて、セラピストとではなく、自分自身とやりとりしているように感じたと語った。彼女はセラピストがそこにいないように感じたこともあった。そのような関係をロジャーズは目指したのだと私は気づいた。セラピストの感情から切り離された技法はそのような関係の妨げとなると彼は考えたのではないか。しかし、もしわたしたちが自分のフェルト・センスに触れながら反射技法を使えば、先のロールプレイングセッションのように、クライエントは自分の内的自己とコミュニケートすることができるようになると期待される。次に、ジェンドリンが関係を重視したのは関係によってクライエントは自分のフェルト・センスとやりとりできるようになるからだと私は考えた。はじめのうち、クライエントは自分自身のフェルト・センスではなく、セラピストをあてにしている。クライエントは中核条件が満たされた関係を経験してはじめて、自分自身を信頼し始め、自分のフェルト・センスをあてにし始めるのである。What Carl Rogers was aiming at when he presented the core conditions in clinent-cenntered psychotherapy is discussed. The core conditions are empathetic understanding, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness.I raised two questions about Rogers and Eugene Gendlin. Why did Rogers choose not to refer to no techniques about psychotherapy? He gradually came to avoid the reflection technique he had proposed early on. Why did Gendlin emphasize the relationship in focusing?Experienced focusers know they need no experinced listeners, and that the relationship between the focuser and the listener is not very important. They depend deeply on their felt sense.The psychotherapy role playng session I experienced as the therapist role with a graduate student, the client role, was considered to give a hypothesis about the two questions.While I used only reflection technique, I was paying attetion to the client and to my “felt sense”. The student said that she got in touch with her inner self and that she felt as though she were communicating with herself, not with the therapist. She sometimes felt as if the therapist were not there. I found that such a relationship was what Rogers had been aiming at. He might have thought that the technique dissociated from the therapist’s feelings would prevent such a relationship. But if we use the reflection technique, keeping in touch with our felt sense,clients are expected to come into communication with their inner self as in that role playing session.Next, I supposed that Gendlin made much of the relationship in the therapy session because it could enable a client to communicate with his or her felt sense, because at first a client depends on a therapist, not on his or her felt sense. It is not until he or she experiences the relationship in which the core conditions are satisfied that he or she begins to trust him- or herself and to depend on his or her felt sense. | |||||||||||
