| 内容記述 | 2011年3月11日の東日本大震災は甚大な人的・物的被害とともに、公文書や歴史資料の被災を生んだ。その救出は数多くのボランティア活動によって支えられている。1987年に「公文書館法」が公布されたが、日本のアーカイブズ制度は遅れた状態のままである。その原因を歴史的に考えれば、日本の近代国家のあり方に求めることができる。「公文書管理法」が2011年4月に施行されてもなお、「国民のため」という発想を持てない政治家や官僚を頂く私たちは、しかしながら諦めてはいない。社会にはアーカイブズが必要であるという世界の常識を、日本の教育システムの中で伝えなくてはならない。学習院大学アーカイブズ学専攻では、アーキビストとして活躍できる人材の他に、教育制度の中でアーカイブズ学を教授できる人材の養成にも取り組んでいる。また、日本アーカイブズ学会は、学会の認定するアーキビスト資格制度を発足させた。これらの資格取得者が、これからの日本のアーカイブズ制度の充実に力を発揮していくものと期待している。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11,2011 destroyed and damaged a great number of public documents and historical records.Rescue operations for damaged documents and records were undertaken by volunteers.Since the promulgation of the Public Archives Act in 1987,the archival system in Japan has not developed as quickly as expected.The cause of this delay can be historically traced to the birth of Japan as a modern nation state.Even after the enactment of the Public Records and Archives Management Act in April 2011,we are determined to teach,within the Japanese educational system,the necessity of archives within a society.The Graduate Course in Archival Science in the Graduate School of Humanities Gakushuin University is committed to producing not only talented professional archivists,but also dedicated archival educators.In addition,the Japan Society for Archival Science recently launched its program for registered archivists. I hope that qualified registered archivists will make a significant contribution to the development of the Japanese archival system in the years to come. | |||||||||||
