| 内容記述 | 本稿では「二年律令・津関令」に見える扜関を対象に考察を加え、扜関の秦漢帝国に対する特殊性・重要性について検討した。その上で、扜関の周辺に展開された外交関係を分析し、漢帝国の遠隔支配において符が果たした役割を指摘した。 戦国から秦漢にかけて扜関に関する史料を整理した結果、扜関は東西の交通を繫ぐ役割だけではなく、南北交通を繫ぎ漢帝国の「首都圏」と南方の辺境を連絡する役割があったとわかった。扜関を要所とする漢代の交通の実態において、巴蜀地域・旧楚地域・長沙王国・南越王国との連絡が見られる中で、越との接続は最も重要なものであったと想定される。そして、漢越の国交において符が介在したと考えられる。すなわち、漢は越との交通路線を制限し辺境地域の紛争を抑止する意図のもとに、特定の関所しか通行できない限定的な通行証である符を用いた。 一方で、都尉による扜関管轄を参考とすれば、漢代関所の運営は地方に一任し、そこで徴収した税金を関所の運営に当たらせたと窺える。関所の存亡は、当該地域の貿易状況及び国交状況に左右される。ゆえに、漢越外交の消滅は扜関の重要性の低下に直接的な影響を及ぼしたと考えられる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | According to the investigation of the Ernian Luling・Jinguan ling, this paper analyses the importance and specificity of the Yu Pass for the Han Empire. Fu, the cross-border pass which issued by the Han Empire, was crucial as influencing the diplomacy between the Han Empire and empires nearby Yu Pass, and the distant governance of the Han empire. Historical references indicated that Yu Pass not only exist as the connection between the east-west territory but also linking up the northsouth territory, which from the capital of Han Empire to the border area of southern territory. The diplomacy between the Han Empire and the Nanyue Kingdom were established by the bestowment of the Fu. Since the particular Fu could be only applicable for the relevant checkpoint, the issue of Fu has restricted the itinerary of the north-south transportation. It could reveal the intention of inhibiting the turmoil in the border area. Every Han’s checkpoints were self-managed. The officials in Yu Pass would levy tax from Nanyue Kingdom’s travellers so as to maintain their operation. Therefore, the existence of a checkpoint would be determined by the trade and the diplomacy. Accordingly, the extermination of the Nanyue Kingdom also leads to the neglect of the Yu pass. | |||||
