内容記述 | This article attempts to explore learner autonomy from students of Gakushuin University. I will address the two research questions: 1) How does learning experience at Gakushuin University influence learner autonomy? 2) What makes some students more autonomous? I adopted a questionnaire survey to address the first question and a follow-up interview survey to address the second one. The questionnaire asked about students’ perceptions of teachers’roles, learning, themselves, past language learning experiences, control over their learning as well as attitudes towards responsibility, critical thinking, and independent learning. The results section will present some findings from the surveys, and the last section will highlight some points for discussion. | |||||
