| 内容記述 | 本稿は、韓国語における複数標識tul の意味用法について検討し、tul の現れる場所に焦点を当てて考察する。 tul は接尾辞、補助詞、依存名詞の三つの意味用法をもつと言われており、様々な観点から多くの研究がなされている。しかし、tul の出現環境をめぐるこれまでの研究においては、次のような問題は充分に検討されていない。宋錫重（1975, 1993）は、主語の直後ではない場所に現れて、その文の主語が複数であることを表わすtul について、〈複数標識複写〉という概念を取り上げて説明しているが、それによる文体上の変異が生ずる原因については触れられていない。また、李熙昇（1955）、任洪彬（1979）、白美鉉（2002）などは、tul は一つの文のほぼすべての要素に現れる、いわゆる「tul の最大拡張」とも呼び得る現象を認める立場を取っているが、それは果たして可能なのか。さらに、徐正洙（1996）の分析によると、主語とtul の連鎖が省略されていない場合、その他の要素に現れるtul は無駄なものとされているが、それは果たしてどうだろうか。 本稿では、以上の問題について、詳細な考察を通して、人間の言語に見られる〈経済性の原理〉と関連付けて検討する。This study examines the meanings and uses of the plural marker “tul” in Korean and focuses on where it occurs in a sentence.As “tul” is said to have three meanings and uses, namely as a suffix, an auxiliary particle, or a dependency noun, this morpheme has been abundantly studied from various viewpoints.However, the following issues have not been thoroughly examined in studies in the field of its occurrence. Song, Seok-choong （1975, 1993） explains that “tul” does not directly follow the subject of the sentence; furthermore, by employing the concept of “plural marker copying”, Song shows that the subject is plural. However, Song did not touch upon the cause of stylistic variations that occur due to this phenomenon. In addition, although linguists such as Lee, Hi-seung（1955）, Im, Hong-pin （1979）, and Baek, Mi-hyun （2002） take the position of recognizing the phenomenon by which “tul” appears with almost all components in a sentence, that is, what can be known as “tul’s maximal expansion”. This paper aims to examine whether this phenomenon is possible. Furthermore, it aims to investigate the validity of the analysis made be Suh, Choengsoo（1996） that “tul” associated with elements other than the subject is deemed redundant in a case when the chain between the subject and “tul” is not omitted.Through a thorough examination, this study examines the above-mentioned issues by relating them to an “economy principle” that is seen in human language. | |||||
