| 内容記述 | This study explains the effect on document processing in prefectures as the result of local administrative reform and focuses on the Miyazaki Prefecture in the Meiji period. The Local Offi cials Governmental Organization was a local administrative reform of the Meiji government which governs the region through the prefecture. As a result of the Local Offi cials Government Organization, the national government became the super agency of the prefectures. This resulted in a responsible ministry that had the chain of command for the administrative works of prefectures. It meant that the administrative work was shared and overseeing section of whole of the prefecture had limited authority. The Miyazaki Prefecture reorganized the organizational structure and document processing when the Local Offi cials Governmental Organization （1886） was instituted. There are differences when one compares the administration of the prefecture before and after the Local Offi cials Governmental Organization （1886）. The differences focused on the departments responsible for records management in the prefectural offi ce. It is considered that local administrative reform led to the transformation of the function of the prefectures and that it affected the area of administrative works at that time. Therefore, the relationship between the administrative function, structure, and document processing was organic. | |||||
