| 内容記述 | Each minority race of Southwest China possesses various kinds of orally transmitted “songs”． This paper analyzes， within the framework of transmission－oriented scales， those melodic structures which are effective in facilitating the memorization and transmission of these“songs”． Aspects such as tone system and innate mode structure are examined in a multidimensional context to clarify how each minority’s transmission－oriented scales are formed． At the same time， changes in“song”structures resulting from the occupational and social acculturation within village communities are considered． Although the basic mechanism of memorization and transmission is at present somewhat weakened by the influence of the dominant Han（漢）culture， it is still possible to find an ecology and function of tones that differ completely from the music of the Han（漢）race． | |||||
