| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、動機づけの達成目標理論（Dweck & Leggett, 1988）における遂行接近目標／遂行回避目標と、賞賛獲得欲求／拒否回避欲求（小島・太田・菅原，2003）との関連を検討することであった。遂行接近目標は、他者から良い評価を得ることで有能感を得ようとする目標であり、正の評価を求める賞賛獲得欲求との関連が予測される。一方、遂行回避目標は、他者から能力が低いとみなされるのを避けることで有能感を維持しようとする目標であり、負の評価を避けようとする拒否回避欲求との関連が予測される。177 名の大学生を対象とした質問紙調査を行い、分析の結果、仮説を支持する結果が得られた。遂行目標志向性を接近─回避の軸で2 分することには議論があるが、本研究の結果は、その2 分法の妥当性を高めることが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of the present research was to examine the correlation between performance approach/ performance avoidance goal and praise seeking need/rejection avoidance need. A performance approach goal is the gaining of competence based on the good ratings of others. Therefore, the performance approach goal was expected to be associated with the praise seeking need. On the other hand, a performance avoidance goal is based on maintainng a competence in order to avoid poor ratings of others. Thus, a performance avoidance goal was expected to correlate with the rejection avoidance need. Participants, 177 undergraduate students took questionnaire surveys, and hypotheses of this research were supported by the results. They suggested that dividing the performance goal orientations in terms of the approach-avoidance dimension is valid. | |||||
