| 内容記述 | There have been a few empirical studies on the relationship between market orientation and business performance of companies in Japan and Sri Lanka. Past studies have found and confirmed market orientation can influence on business performance. The present study investigated and reported that there is a positive relationship between these two variables in both countries. The results from this study suggest that to maintain the higher level of market orientation, both Japanese and Sri Lankan companies should pay more attention on top management emphasis on market orientation and inter departmental connectedness. Notably, Sri Lankan companies should reduce the level of centralization which is likely to enhance market orientation. | |||||
