The purpose of this book is to examine the interpretation of Michizane’s works in light of the usage in China, including whether there is a Japanese-style aspect unique to Japan. As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that these four words were used with correct meanings in accordance with the usage in China. As for '喃喃,' '嘖嘖,' in the poem in \"Kanke Koushu\", Hisao Kawaguchi's annotations on the Taikei（old edition ）, etc, state that 'noisy,' and the interpretation of \"Daikanwa Jiten\" （second edition） has the same meaning. However, when we checked the examples of poems in the Tang Dynasty in China, we found that some poems were simply used as birdsong without the meaning of 'noisy,' and it is highly possible that the use of \"Kanke Koushu\" was used in a sense close to this Chinese example.
