| 内容記述 | The purpose of the present paper is to provide information on the use of ICT （Information and Communication Technology） for English teachers, so that they can pass on their new knowledge and skills to their students. With the advancement of digital technology, there has been a movement in recent years to incorporate ICT into the fi eld of English education. Based on the Courses of Study and the GIGA School Program promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, laptop computers and tablet computers are currently being introduced into educational settings. However, survey data shows that many teachers are uncertain about the use of digital technology, and that the educational fi eld is still in a state of confusion. In order to better inform English teachers, the following fi ve technologies are outlined, and their potential applications in the classroom are also introduced: （a） Text-to-Speech （TTS）, （b） AI translation, （c） Automated Writing Evaluation （AWE）, （d） online English conversation services, and （e） online video pronunciation dictionaries. | |||||
