The chronology was handed down even after his death, and the process of compilation is unknown.\n This article analyzes several manuscript copies of the chronology and clarifies that the Matsura house of Hirado domain desired information about the imperial court nobles’ visits to Edo and about the reception officers assigned by the Shogunate, and that the Matsura house was involved in the compilation of the chronology. After a long interval, lord of Hirado domain Matsura Hiromu was assigned to serve as one of the reception officers in 1817. His father Kiyoshi, the former lord, known as the author of “Kasshi yawa（『甲子夜話』）, ” had interacted with Matsuoka Tokikata.
