In recent years, “Kokuhaku-suru” has been used more often in the conveying of romantic feelings, and as a result,─“Koku-ru” arose a shortform that is─to this meaning Furthermore, as “Koku-ru” became widely used among young people, “Kokuhaku-suru” became more and more biased toward the meaning of romantic confession.
