into　overseas　by　the　High　Commerce　Special　School　graduates during　and　after　the　Taisho　era．　It　argues　what　opportunity　made them　reach　oversea　countries　such．　as　China　and　Korea．　In particular，　a　great　number　of　Yamaguchi　High　Commerce　School graduates　went　to　Korea，　Taiwan，　China，　and　Manchuria．　For instance，　about　twenty　percent　of　graduates　were　transferred　to　the above－mentioned　countries　within　one　year　after　their　graduation． 　　Firstly，　this　essay　argues　the　reason　why　the　number　of　oversea goers　increased　by　examining　the　employment　of　special　school graduates　in　the　same　period．　Secondly，　it　clarifies　that　what　office regulations　enabled　the　companies　to　obtain　talented　persons． Finally，　it　concludes　that　the　characteristic　programmes　of　Special Schools　such　as　East　Asian　studies　became　an　incentive　for graduates　to　go　abroad，　and　as　the　companies　expanded　their activities　into　neighbouring　Asian　countries，　Yamaguchi　High Commerce　School　graduates　were　frequently　employed　as　talented
