| 内容記述 | Tin mining industry in Yunnan Gejiu， located near Mengzi county and the Yuanjiang or Hong－Ha river， has its origin at the beginning of the 18th century and by the 1750s there emerged the guild of the local miners and the owners of tin forges． At the end of Qing Period，．the small entreprenneurs and the merchants of the guild outstanded the continous French mining interests’efforts to monopolize the Yunnan mining industry after colonization of Indochina． They strengthered strengthing the regulations which anned strictly the buying and shipping of tin ore without their accord， and realized the tin industry’s l’age d’or in 1910s． The chamber of commerce and tin industry in Gejiu gradually acquired a wide range of quasi－governmental powers， sponsored public security forces， and provided an expanding range of services including the distribution of medical care， burial etc． | |||||||||||
