| 内容記述 | This report summarizes the result of“A Cross－National Study of the Cognitive Map of Inter－nation Relations in the Japanese and Korean University Students．”The study was carried out in a two－year period from the 1994 to the 1995 academic years， on the basis of extensive attitudinal surveys conducted both in Japan and in Korea． A total of 596 Japanese male and fernale university students and a total of 434 Korean male and female university students served as respondents in the surveys in the respective countries． In the present report， Chapter One analyzes the world－outlook of the youths in Japan and Korea on international conflict and national security乳Chapter Two examines the life and values of the youths in both countries and their relations to the state， society and individuals． Chapter Three deals with the problems of the industry， and science and technology， casting light on the future of leading industries in both countries and public acceptance of the science and technology． Chapter Four discusses， on the basis of the findings of the surveys， the ways in which the two neighboring countries can manage to overcome the cultural cleavage in the future， so that they may increase mutual understanding and draw closer to each other． | |||||
