@article{oai:glim-re.repo.nii.ac.jp:00002482, author = {小倉, 芳彦 and Ogura, Yoshihiko}, issue = {17}, journal = {調査研究報告}, month = {Mar}, note = {application/pdf, After the∫apanese invasion of Manchuria which began from 1931, the famous, contemporary Chinese historian Gu Jie-gang(顧頷剛,1893-1980)formed the Publishing House for Popular Literature, composed various works with an anti-Japanese theme using aform of peoples’1iterature, the daguci(大鼓詞), and published 600 kinds of pamphlets, atotal of 50,000,000 copies. This issue introduces eleven of these kinds, only a smaU portion of the originals which were provided by Gu Jie・gang’s daughter, Gu Hong(顧洪).    The individual themes are summarized below:    ①Apatriotic incident in which a Shanghai taxi driver, Hu A-mao(胡阿毛), carrying three Japanese soldiers drove into a river, drowning all of theln.    The pitiful condition of Korea as a Japanese colony.    The regret of Puyi(搏儀)who was tricked into becoming the emperor of Manchuria by the Japanese.              (These three chapters compose one volume.)    ②The resentment of Yao Rui・fang(挑瑞芳), a daughter of a respectable family in Shanghai, over Japan’s invasion of Manchuria and her subsequent departure from home to jOin the vOlunteer army.    ③Ashort history of the Japanese invasion of China from the end of the 19th century through the 1930’s.    ④ The resistance of General Qi Ji・guang(戚継光)and his men against the Wokou (倭冠,Japanese marauders)who laid waste to the southeast coast of China in the 16th century.    ⑤ Song(宋)Dynasty General Wen Tian・xiang’s(文天祥)continued resistance to the Mongol armies until his death.    ⑥.An incident in which a farlner of Honan(河南)Province who lost his home in aflood went to work for a Japanese factory in Qing・dao(青島), but was beaten for requesting  better treatment.    ⑦An incident in which many people died in a village where cholera broke out because of their ignorance of the causes of the disease Ieaving only the whole Wang(王) family surviving because they had thoroughly disinfected their food・    ⑧An incident in the mid 17th century where only the residents of the Jiang-yin (江陰)distrist all cooperated to hold out for 88 days against the Iarge arrnies of the Qing(清)Dynasty.    ⑨ General Wu Qi’s(呉起)kind treatment of his soldiers and his subsequent vlctory using skillful strategy in 400 B. C.    ⑩Aconversation between a teacher and two youths about the signi丘cance of the San-zhong-chuan-hui(三中全会)in February 1937.    ⑪The grief of an 01d mother for drug addicts who were executed under the law.    The regret of a drug addict who grieves for himself as a person maimed for life.
