| 内容記述 | Choka—a long poem in Japanese style—is a form of waka expression. In the middle of the Tokugawa era, Kamono Mabuchi (is a Japanese classical scholar) took the lead a movement of Choka’s revival. After Mabuchi’s death, his pupils took Mabuchi’s place and composed many a Choka. Mabuchi’s male pupils modeled Choka after Man’yoshu. Their Choka, as a nature poem, are very powerful and dynamic. On the other hand, Mabuchi's female pupils composed Choka, as a lyric poem, which are sensitive and lyrical, because of these formed on the lyrics after Kokinwakashu. | |||||
