| 内容記述 | 本論では、「場所的論理」の立場から、西田幾多郎のベルクソン批判を考察する。本論第一部は、現実の「統一的」性格ということを強調したが、我々がこの第二部で見いだすのは、普通に「実在的」と信じられているものが、偽りの「連結」の結果なのだ、ということである。 この点に関して、ベルクソンは、知性が持続の流動的な性質を隠してしまうような、認識上の幻影を厳密に叙述してはいる。しかし、彼は、この幻影よりも根深い「本末転倒」に囲まれ、「時間」だけでなくさらに「有」という概念の内に閉じ込められ、「無」の本来の現実性を無視してしまった。西田哲学の形而上学は、そのことを明らかにするような試みとして理解できよう。 ベルクソン哲学が成立している「場所」を探りつつも、西田の立場は、単にその「場所」を包摂しようとするだけにとどまらず、その哲学的積極性を解き放つための作業を表す。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This second part considers Nishida Kitaro’s critique of Bergson directly from the perspective of the “logic of place” (bashotekironri). While the fi rst has positively emphasized the “unifying” nature of reality, here we discover that what is usually believed to be the “real” stands rather as the result of a fallacious “correlation”. To this regard, Bergson has described with close scrutiny an epistemic “mirage”, according to which the “intellect” dissimulates the fl owing nature of duration. Still, Nishidean metaphysics can be understood as an attempt to show how the French philosopher becomes involved in a more radical kind of “inversing” ( 本末転倒honmatsutentô), imprisoning himself not only within “time”, but also “being”, and paying no attention to the genuine actuality of “nothingness”. While probing the operating “place” (basho) of Bergsonism, this “position” does not intend to simply contain it, but represents as well a labor to liberate its philosophical eff ectiveness. | |||||
