| 内容記述 | これは2006 年6 月24 日に東京の学習院大学において（付記参照）、また2007 年1 月27、28 の両日に沖縄県那覇市の沖縄大学で開かれた沖縄言語研究センター（OCLS）の月例研究会での2度の講義の記録であり、呼気圧・呼気流に関連しながら以下のことが述べられている。（1）呼吸一般、（2）発話時の呼気、（3）喉頭下の気圧と、喉頭の筋肉的制御、（4）声道における母音・子音を発する際の調音運動とのかかわり、（5）結論、および今後の研究への示唆 筆者が以前に国立国語研究所で行なった実験音声学的研究（国研報告60、同100）から、Ⅹ線映画フィルムトレース図、動的人工口蓋図、その他各種の調音的、音響的な資料が引用、提示されている。また、主題に関連して、日本語、およびいくつかの言語のフォネーム、およびいわゆる超分節的なフォネームの研究方法に関する補足説明が加えられている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This is a record of the two lectures given at Gakusyūin University in Tokyo on June 24, 2006, and at Okinawa University in Naha City, Okinawa, in a regular monthly meeting of Okinawa Center for Language Studies（OCLS）on January 27 ～ 28, 2007. The topics discussed are as follows: （1）respiration in general,（2）expiration at the time of speech,（3）sub-glottal air pressure and muscular controls of the glottis,（4）articulatory movements in the vocal tract when producing the vowels and the consonants,（5）conclusions, and some suggestions for further research. Various kinds of articulatory and acoustic data provided by experimental phonetics are shown, including tracings of X-ray cinema films, dynamic palatographic data, etc. In addition, based on these discussions, supplementary remarks are made on the studies of segmental and suprasegmental phonemes of Japanese and some other languages. | |||||
