There is little preceding research about the Amdo dialect. Therefore, even such a basic investigation as is described here is valuable. The contents of the paper address the following three points regarding the grammar of the Amdo dialect; ① honorifics, ② nominal predicative sentences ‘ ～ desu’, ③ existential sentences. In addition, examples of conversation in daily life are added as ④．Information about the Amdo dialect is provided by Mr. ZHA XI CAI RANG, whose native language is the Amdo dialect.},
